Corrections are welcome and are made in the open. Here is what to send, and what happens to it.
Before You Write
Most questions that arrive here are already answered somewhere on the site. The menu groups every article by the kind of objection it addresses, and the search function of your browser (Ctrl+F) will find a phrase inside a long page faster than an email will reach an answer.
If the question is genuinely unanswered — or if you believe an article states a fact incorrectly, quotes a source out of context, or misrepresents an argument — that is worth writing about. Corrections are published rather than quietly patched, and a correction that names the error precisely is far more useful than one that says an article is wrong in general.

What Gets a Reply
A specific correction — a date, a quotation, a citation that does not say what an article claims it says. These are checked against the source and, if the site is wrong, the article is changed and the change is noted.
A question an article left open. If enough readers ask the same one, it becomes an article.
A counter-argument stated in full. Not a link to a video with the instruction to watch it — the argument itself, in your own words, in a form that can be answered.
Personal abuse, mass mailings, and requests to remove an article because it is uncomfortable are read and filed without reply.
A Note on Privacy
Whatever you send is used to answer you and for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list, not passed to anyone, and not published with your name attached unless you ask for that explicitly.
